Pros

The insurance is good for families but they want to take that away from us

Cons

The current management is a joke. They treat the employees and customers poorly. They have cut everything they can and cannot service customers because they have no crews. If you are looking for a job in tye you start out as a conductor. They are currently looking to get rid of that job and put them on the ground. If you want a paid leave day there is only 1 allocation for that day. You cant even take time off for the day you need. You will then reset your 14 days if you even take that day off. Google hiviz and you will see the articles about the attendance policy and how every terminal wanted to strike. Morale is all time low. The management only cares about cutting jobs. You are just a number. If you take off for Christmas and even superbowl Sunday or Mothers day they will ding you for more points. You only have 30 points for your career. There lack of treating employees right is why the company losing employees. Since hiviz came out February 1st we have lost 900 so far and counting. You will be forced into working overtime. Expect to only spend 10 and half hours at home and up to 36 hours away. Wash and repeat and this is the life you have to live with if you choose this career.

Pros

Great people and strong coworkers across the organization. The company offers competitive pay, strong benefits, and good overall stability. There are many experienced employees who care about the work and are willing to help others succeed.

Cons

The organization can be very hierarchical, which sometimes makes it difficult to drive change or move quickly. Decisions often require multiple layers of approval, so it can take longer than expected to finalize direction or make progress. There is also limited flexibility compared to what many other companies offer, especially when it comes to working arrangements.
