Opportunity to speak to members of the Executive Committee which is very rare and they help to give you tremendous insight and unparalleled career advice. Dedication to the SAP is amazing and would highly recommend to any student looking to gain insight into the financial services industry.

Cons

Length of the programme is only 9 weeks, would be great to have the opportunity of 12 weeks.

Pros

Some of the internal platforms have dev teams that would rival any other tech company. Can learn a lot if you end up on one of those teams.

Cons

Completely crap shoot as to if you land on a good team or a completely incompetent one. If you're on a bad one good luck. On a bad team you can expect vague work requirements and huge work loads with unmanageable delivery timelines. Also they're outsourcing to India heavily. Also also, most senior management is completely out of touch with reality and don't understand the tech stack they own (more you interact with them the more frighteningly obvious it becomes). HR is completely incompetent, of course, it's an open secret at the bank.
