Pros

Babycenter gives me lots of valuable opportunities to work on exciting projects that I wouldn't be able to get somewhere else. I get to work with the engineers to improve the international cms, and am given a lead production role for a Telenovela web series project. Everyone that I'm working with here are extremely professional, open-minded, and talented. They are also really nice!

Cons

Need more snacks in the kitchen.

Pros

If you are a contractor, you have pretty good work/life balance. I worked here for 2 years and I've had a positive experience, even though I didn't get converted to full time (it's understandable in a financial standpoint). I've learned a lot here and my manager gave me the opportunity to take on more projects and tasks, which made good use of my 2 years here. I came here 2 years after graduating from college and it has helped shape me. The team dynamic here is great. You get invited to some company events and your managers will have your back. I can't speak for all contractors, but my manager made me feel included and a part of his team. He also made it clear to me that it is very hard to get converted to full time and was very transparent with whether or not I have a chance of getting converted. He also helped me get an extension, which gave me time to look for a new job. The location of this office is great. It's close to bart, caltrain, and muni. If you are a recent college grad who is looking to learn, BabyCenter will help you grow and I can guarantee you that you will learn a lot here. The pay is also not bad. The c-level execs are awesome, too. They make everyone feel like they are a part of the company.

Cons

It's difficult to get converted from a contractor to a full time employee, but I want to stress that this isn't entirely in BabyCenter's control. No benefits, but you can get some benefits from the contracting company you're with.
