Pros
Corporate serving is easier to get into because they are used to cycling people in and out seasonally or part-time. They had a portal to put in work/time off requests, and trade shifts with other employees.
Cons
The environment was really nerve racking (customer wise) and uninviting and isolating (coworker wise). if one of your customers has a complicated food or drink order, whether or not you can get that order out to the customer is dependent on if the bartenders/expeditors liked you. Either you're being micromanaged by someone with no authority to do so, or your parties are being sharked. People only cover their friends shifts through the employee portal so if you havent created any allies, just be prepared for no last minute covered shifts. Coworkers yelled at you in front of customers. the woman who trained me ended up bossing me around and even sharking a tremendous party table which was specifically assigned me to. Basically every man for themselves or fit in by also being rude/ruthless. Im just writing this review to gain more features on glassdoor and this experience was about 3 years ago, so hopefully the toxic environment has either been addressed or naturally dissipated. But to be honest this place SUCKED TO WORK AT.
