Pros

Those in charge of Baker Tilly at the top seem nice, but it is impossible to get the NY and Melville offices in line with their thinking.

Cons

Minimal quality of life. Lack of qualified staff. No set procedures across offices and inter-office. Toxic and negative environment - those in charge often they take their stress out on managers and staff. Pay not adequate for the number of hours that you spend working here weekly.

Pros

Very flexible schedule, fully remote, very nice and helpful full-time staff to guide you, learned a lot, overall a great temp job with a great firm.

Cons

I wish they allotted more time for training, which was one week. I felt like I needed an extra week. The amount of information thrown at you as a first-timer can feel overwhelming, but there are people there to guide you and very helpful self-training modules and materials. Might not be right for a person who has trouble learning on their own, as most of the training is self-administered.
