What you really want is a level playing field; one that does not come with staff backstabbing you with lies about your job performance. The staff at the group home I worked at were the absolute worse! You would have staff not do one thing, but sit and watch TV for a 12 hour shift. I have seen staff make a business plan for their side hustle, print labels for this business, stay on the phone constantly with their ear pods in, take call after call while on the job and come into work so exhausted from being out the night prior, they are worthless working! Upper management and manager did absolutely nothing. It was like a blind eye was turned! I still hope you can find a way forward that is more fair and doesn’t only reward someone who’s willing to cheat to get ahead. Just be sure you’re thinking carefully about the consequences of however you proceed. Bancroft is loosing lots of hard working employees, because of staffing and poor management decisions.
