Pros
This is a well-established company and premier health provider in San Antonio. They're not going anywhere, so the company has a good track record of stability. There are employees who have worked here for a long time and have no plans of leaving. They're not on the cutting edge or most innovative, but they seem to have solid processes and a good strategic vision.
Cons
For a health care company, I was shocked at how rigid they were about employee schedule, especially relative to medical visits. I understand the need to provide adequate coverage, but I had never had a problem scheduling doctor's visits during working hours anywhere else but at this company. Note: This was in the administrative areas, not within the hospitals or clinical areas.
