The problems to be solved are interesting and challenging due to the size of the company, this means at work you will really need to find/write the most performant piece of code. Team work is critical to achieve this and there are good practices in place to make sure quality of work maintains certain standards.
Cons
There is a lot of legacy systems and a lot of politics involved into replacing/upgrading them, so you might find yourself stuck in a bit of old technology.
