Pros

Unless you can negotiate a ton of money for yourself, do not work here.

Cons

Across all groups in the bank, front office, banking, compliance, legal, ops, tech, it doesn't matter, there is constant turn over, mostly because lower and mid level employees are treated like crap and they know they can do better else where. The problem is they have a lot of managers that have been there for 10 or more years and they are too expensive to remove so they employ a revolving door of employees beneath them. They don't care about you as long as they can keep their head count allowances. It's a running joke as to how long each new hire will last. The promotion structure makes no sense and if you get stuck working for a bad line manager who hates you, you might as well start looking for a new job because they will find a way to get rid of you. If you want to move internally bc you don't like your current role, be warned, you must put at least one year in and be in good standing, and it can take months for that transfer to happen. You are better off just going to work somewhere else. Oh and that whole work life balance is nonsense, you will intentionally be given assignments that make it impossible to get out the door at a reasonable hour. If you complain you will not be seen a "team player" which will affect your crappy bonus and can cause you to get a negative review. They have a work from home policy but your manager can say "no" at anytime and not let you work from home, don't think that you are entitled to any of those "wonderful" perks that they offer. Unless you get it in writing, they can deny you all those work life balance options.
