Pros
Barclays differs on a team by team basis. Overall, the company has some cool perks such as free tickets to sporting games at random times, a cafateria, and a matching 401k.
Cons
Filled with consultants tons and tons of them. The company is a productivity nightmare. Engineering management is full of incompetent technically unsavy managers who run outsourced teams in Pune. Most software engineers are mediocre at best with bare minimum skills. Most employees are foreign on various Visas hired at lower than market rate.
