Pros
The only pro about working for Barclays is that my colleagues are a great group of people. When I say colleagues, I specifically mean my peers.
Cons
Lack of room for growth. Consistently poor raises and increasingly bad bonus numbers. Red tape all over the place. Incredibly bureaucratic. Compliance driven. Big titles at the top still paying themselves handsomely while they explain poor compensation to employees by complaining about how bad the year was. YEAR AFTER YEAR. There is a traffic jam at the exit doors, people running for the hills left and right. They preach values but it's all a facade.
