Pros
Base is very open about what it values in employees. They should be skilled, focused and thoughtful. If you want to change something in the company or the product, you can do it as long as you take ownership of the change and make it happen. There's no politics, people ale valued by what they do rather by who they know or how long have they been working at Base.
Cons
Performance of other people can be intimidating when you get out of shape, but as long as you don't isolate yourself from others, you can count on both your peers and senior staff to help you get your act together and identify your problems.
