      Pros

      Great, passionate associates. Many are retired and LOVE the company and the products they sell.

      Cons

      Very, very privately held and it is very difficult to get information on how the company is performing. Multiple manager positions were eliminated with less than a week notice to the GM of the store. Overall, "knee-jerk" or "flavor of the month" management.

      Good discount on in house brands

      Cons

      Toxic management runs rampant at most stores, multiple managers keep their jobs after saying racist or sexist things to both employees or customers. If you’re a good worker they expect you to do the work for your coworkers who are lazy / not doing their job and if you complain you’re the problem. Pay is a joke. Annual raises are never more than $0.20 a year, sometimes as low as $0.07.
