Pros

I was so excited about this opportunity and so let down. There are a few really good managers and a few really bad ones. You will work mostly nights and at least one weekend day or night. This place has a very high dissatisfaction rate. Most of your co workers are very unhappy and not much fun to work with. I thought this place was going to be a fun place to work.

Cons

I love BPS and sill do. I still shop here and am still a BPS Club Card holder. The schedule did not work for me and the attitude of some of the management was terrible. Training was lacking is some very key areas and should include more than just 8 hours of video training on a computer and running a register for a few hours.

Good discount on in house brands

Cons

Toxic management runs rampant at most stores, multiple managers keep their jobs after saying racist or sexist things to both employees or customers. If you’re a good worker they expect you to do the work for your coworkers who are lazy / not doing their job and if you complain you’re the problem. Pay is a joke. Annual raises are never more than $0.20 a year, sometimes as low as $0.07.
