Pros

Pay is okay but other places will pay more for less work. The department managers that were there when I was were great.

Cons

The store manager and assistant store manager don’t care about their employees. They like the few people who cause problems run the store and give them what they want. They don’t care if you are a good hard worker. They will force you out, or find a way to fire you. Any one who gets harassed gets punished while the people harassing others get raises or whatever they want. They don’t like promoting from within. Management is very bipolar one day you are great the next the store is failing because of you. HR is dating an employee who keeps getting promoted and doesn’t get in trouble for things others get fired for. Assistant store manager will try to get involved in things she shouldn’t and is very rude and unprofessional. Store manager blames everyone for his mistakes and fires people who do their jobs. They will lie to about everything. Tell you to apply for positions then hire from outside and not tell you that they didn’t give you the job until the day before the person starts and have you train them. Won’t give you a raise even if you do more work. Cuts hours at the last minute. Changes schedules at the last minute. HR is very unprofessional talking badly about managers in the break room with her boyfriend in front of others. Leads can threaten employees under them and the employee gets punished. Just a horrible place to work.

Pros

Good discount on in house brands

Cons

Toxic management runs rampant at most stores, multiple managers keep their jobs after saying racist or sexist things to both employees or customers. If you’re a good worker they expect you to do the work for your coworkers who are lazy / not doing their job and if you complain you’re the problem. Pay is a joke. Annual raises are never more than $0.20 a year, sometimes as low as $0.07.
