Pros
Usually nice coworkers. Great as a stepping stone job in IT. I saw multiple coworkers land better jobs at other companies after a year or two.
Cons
Pay ($18/hr or 37k/yr) and benefits are paid by you, unaffordable for most of the people working there. Management (if your IT manager has a master's degree in business, take that as the red flag it is and RUN). Abusive manager who is very cliqueish. Manager who constantly takes work from other departments and expects you to know how to do it, but doesn't understand how to do it to be able teach you. Constantly abusive callers who don't understand technology. An average of 500-600 calls a day split among 12-15 people. Manager who scapegoats employees they don't like because they can't take accountability for their mistakes. Manager's abysmal leadership. The best workers are either all promoted now or left for better opportunities at better companies (mostly the latter). Lack of upward mobility outside of leadership roles for TAC. Only one person has moved to another department in years, and they were in a leadership role for over 10 years.
