Pros

-Generally, great associates to work with, and the customers (depending on location) are pretty nice. -The discount isn't too bad; it's nice being able to use it at the store and at VS locations. -Easy. The training is awful, but as time goes on, you pick up on things fairly quickly. -Most managers are friendly and are willing to help you and are concerned about what is going on in your life.

Cons

-Call-ins. Everyone I have worked with, and myself included, hate the call-ins. Like many people have said, you really can't plan anything until you find our whether you're needed or not. It's annoying having to try to plan around them, especially if you find out you're not needed... the day is pretty much wasted. -The hours. Hours are pretty inconsistent and can range from having a ton (to the point where you don't have any time for social things or studying-like during the holidays) to almost none at all (during slow Winter months, like mid-January to March). -Floorsets. The set times to do these are just terrible. The hours may be good, yes, but it's long, hard work. Sometimes they are on certain days where it will clash with other things going on, like Superbowl Sunday and Christmas Eve. Many employees don't show up for the clashing nights, which makes them all the more difficult to complete them successfully and on time.

Pros

I previously worked in the field (for a different brand) and we were always so weary of corporate teams coming into the stores. However, the corporate team at Bath & Body Works is absolutely incredible, supportive, and does everything they can to advocate for the stores. The entire Store Ops team is full of people who care deeply about the brand, the store associates, and the customer.

Cons

A lot of meetings. But being remote, it was nice to see faces throughout the day!

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
