Pros
-Discount at Victoria's Secret and la senza too -upbeat environment -able to switch shifts without any problems -free products -while annoying sometimes, the work sheets given out each month really help to strengthen employees knowledge and expand their knowledge of retail -great to understand retail -does not give employees stressful sales targets or specific number of items to sell which helps to reduce some stress, we all work as a team to reach the segment -managers are very supportive and always thank me for a great job at the end of my shift -nothing feels better than making a customer really happy -having zones makes it easier to understand where you should be on the floor -"events" are fun to work
Cons
I really thought this would be my dream job as a teenager but it's way more challenging than it may seem! Some days you are expected to do multiple things at once and it gets confusing as to what actually needs to be done! I also hate that we are encouraged to keep going back to talk to customers even though it is obvious they do not want to be talked to, just browse in peace. Hours are very limited and select people are favourite and get plenty while others may get none. At Christmas it is very hectic and your availability is thrown out the window; I often missed class for work. Also while the discount is across all 3 brands, employees don't get discounts on in store promos l, just on single, full price items and they also cannot get price adjustments if sownthing goes on sale while other customers do. Also not given coupons so the employee discount really ends up back firing on a lot of enployees and is more of a hassel than a perk!
