Pros

Our emphasis is on great customer service. Sales Associates get 30% off regular priced merchandise, mangers 40%. You don't need a ton of makeup or perfect hair all the time. Just blue or khaki jeans and white shirt (buttoned or collared). Do not under any circumstance wear any of the following: Black or coloured jeans, ripped jeans, logos, running shoes, flip flops, lace/mesh/backless shirts, off-white shirts, or coloured hair (blue, green, pink, purple, etc.)

Cons

Memorizing prices is really tricky when the computer doesn't price them correctly. They are very strict with being late. And training isn't that detailed. You have to ask a lot of questions when you just start off.

Pros

Generous pay for management, paid holidays and maternity leave for full timers, good benefits. Treats us more like humans than any other business I’ve ever worked for

Cons

Work/life balance can be hard, especially around the holidays

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
