Pros

Great co workers Chance to get a lot of hours Lots of freebees and perks Friends were always envious of where I worked

Cons

OMG where to start. First off the management somehow is not involved and overinvolved at the same time. The constantly dissapear into the back leaving the floor to the sales associates. When they do come back they walk around criticizing performance. A lot of times i was sent to White Barn and had to work the entire store by myself even during christmas. They are constantly moving the store around so every couple of weeks we had to come in on sundays and work until about 2 in the morning moving product around the store. Also they did not train me in how to use the stockroom and would send me back for product that I couldn't find.

Pros

Great brand to work for! Corporate leaders are great at motivating team down to associate level. (Not sure about Daniel yet though, I’m mostly referring to the tentured leadership team) There’s access to tools that offer clear communication (almost too much communication sometimes). Development is the core of this brand and managers are trained to foster internal talent when it’s identified. The product sold here is cherished by a huge fanbase as well- customers feed off of the excitement the associates have around the product.

Cons

Operationally demanding and challenging; don’t underestimate how much labor and planning goes into selling candles and lotion.
