These are all perception which is often equal to reality. The demilitarization contracts are high profit margin for Battelle and significantly impact the bottom line. But within the company it often seems to demil workers that they are not respected. Demil projects are remote site locations. For the most point out of site and out of mind as long as there were no problems to address or awards to receive. Never seemed like management was serious about growing new business to keep operations level employees once the demil projects ended.
