Pros

There are very talented, genuine employees in legacy Hillrom. The base pay was competitive, but I received a small fraction of my bonus. It was tied to overall plant and company performance, which was outside my control and an abysmal failure by leadership.

Cons

Procurement leadership is out of touch with their employees and the work being performed. They dismiss concerns and questions when expressed by direct reports and other department leadership. This leads to an ineffective working relationship with Ops, Engineering and Finance. Our credibility is seriously compromised. Morale is at an all time low due to layoffs. There is a poor work/life balance. It's expected that you routinely meet and work outside of typical business hours. When you take PTO, you have to remain available for emails and calls.

Pros

Nothing to gain here for growth

Cons

*Constant pressure of management. *Zero to little training. *Always rushing people and not letting them voice their opinion. *Toxic workplace environment with no growth in career. *Certain individuals pressured to learn machinery and important paperwork while others do less and get the same compensation. *Mistakes due to workload and burnout heavily punished. *6 day workweeks constantly *No direct support from management. *Shortage of people in all departments.
