Pros

If you work for a department with a good leader, you will be happy here.

Cons

Your manager can completely change your experience with the company. I worked in several departments throughout the company and always had great leaders. I move to TA and started out with a great boss. He left the company and I ended up with an awful boss. She was passive aggressive, created issues within her team, played favorites, couldn’t accept feedback, hated new ideas, would make irrational decisions and then try to justify them with her personal struggles. I planned to retire from the company and she made it unbearable. Not to mention, a coworker and I both left the company and moved into higher level roles. She never wanted to develop us, but we went to two different companies and they saw the worth she refused to acknowledge.

We appreciate the time it has taken you to share this review. Whilst we're glad you had experienced a number of good leaders while at Baxter, it's extremely disappointing to read the change you felt once moving into TA. We will pass this information on to help is improve. We're glad your future roles have been so positive and wish you all the best for your career.

Pros

Was a great company 5 years ago. Declined heavily in the last 3 years. Way too many lay offs and restructuring.

Cons

Favoritism. Manager has no answers looks to someone they manage for answers. This person gatekeeps information and is overall toxic. Contradictory instructions. Managers will rely on bad information and then different managers will give you conflicting orders. If you try to go to the upper managers they will terminate you and lie about it. You could be asked to solve problems you were not hired for.
