      Overall compensation and benefits programs are solid Matching gifts program allows employees to increase donations to their favorite charities More focus on workforce flexibility (telecommuting, different schedules, compressed work weeks) Kind and caring co-workers with a focus on helping save lives

      Work/Life balance is poor due to high demands Decisions take a long time due to the size & bureaucracy Leaders have been promoted due to their technical skills and there is a lack of true Leadership Disparity in activities, benefits and focus on the business outside of Chicago

      Pros

      Was a great company 5 years ago. Declined heavily in the last 3 years. Way too many lay offs and restructuring.

      Cons

      Favoritism. Manager has no answers looks to someone they manage for answers. This person gatekeeps information and is overall toxic. Contradictory instructions. Managers will rely on bad information and then different managers will give you conflicting orders. If you try to go to the upper managers they will terminate you and lie about it. You could be asked to solve problems you were not hired for.
