Nurse Bullying!!! - Emergency Department RN BayCare Health System Employee Review

Pros

The pay is competitive for the area, but still low based on the US average

Cons

Preceptors are not properly trained and/or experienced. There are many that only have 1 year of nursing experience period. I’ve never experienced “nurse bullying” like I did at St. Joseph’s. They will chew you up, spit you out and then ostracized you! This was an horrible experience. Patient care is second to patient satisfaction. As long as the patient “thinks you are nice and know what you’re doing,” you don’t really have to know what you’re doing. I would never take my family there. Very miserable environment. Staff are not happy. Most are waiting on contracts to end so that they can leave.
