Pros

There is a steep learning curve which allows for learning in many areas such as engineering, environmental science, air quality, and atmospheric science.

Cons

My advisor (who shall remain unnamed) has turned down a job offer for me to work at PNNL, made me change from a PhD student to a Masters student instead of providing guidance to change to a different advisor, and has ensured that writing my thesis and completing it in a timely manner is not possible.
