Awful company, stay away - VP Finance Bayview Asset Management Employee Review

Free water in the kitchen

Cons

The new senior management is ruining the company, specifically the new SVP Co-controller. She has caused so many people to resign and is ruining the culture of the company. Bonuses are 10% at best, multiple people received 0 bonus. She has caused more than 50% of the department to resign. Before thinking to join, ask about all departures in Q1 and Q2 2023. The company is saying it’s due to retirement.

In general, many coworkers are intelligent and hard-working. I have learned and grown a lot.

Cons

Extremely poor work-life balance. Frequent expectation to work past normal hours and always respond late at night. Unclear expectations and a lack of healthy communication
