Pros

None that make up for the many negatives.

Cons

Constant chaos. Irresponsible timelines. Disregard for employee feedback. Not unusual to have a 7-day work week with no comp time. The salary is decent, but there’s no sense of job satisfaction or accomplishment. You’ll keep hanging on for the next bonus or the next round of stock, hoping you’ll have something to show for the years you’re squandering. You sell your health (mental and physical) to make execs richer. Amidst the few talented and respectable managers is a fascinating array of incompetent managers. Whether you land with a good manager or a no-count buffoon is a spin of the roulette wheel. So many good employees have run away from this place. Many who stay are hanging on for the money or they are younger, less experienced workers hoping to pad their resumes. I feel sorry for the younger people, because of what they get exposed to here and no healthy job experience to compare it to. A soul-sucking meat grinder.

Pros

I did think about this and the pros are we get free snacks in the kitchens. A sad pro, but I could not come how with anything else. Oh, free parking too!

Cons

How much can I write? After being in the industry for 15 years plus, I have never seen such a train wreck. I have been here for two years and it feels like 20. They work you so much and there is never a promotion. There is never a thank you. Stock equity is almost nonexistent at this point. The next few years will be tough because our pipeline has nothing coming out. They also fire and lay off people all the time. You never know if you will come in one day and have a meeting with HR that you are blindsided by. The whole place is really working like a bad startup with a founder that wants to continue being CEO and has nothing new to offer. His wife is running the company because she is at every town hall and major event. She is not even an official employee of the company, but sits in all these meetings. Something is wrong with that. There is zero culture. I kept hoping this would change, but I gave up.
