Pros
-The team communicates very effectively. -Very supportive team culture. Your supervisor will support you in a professional manner (e.g., behavior management, data collection, cultural competency, subtle cues, uncomfortable situations, technical questions, etc) -Structured session. You will know exactly what you will do when you enter session including DTT and incidental teaching (also add your creativity) -Benefit package including insurances (health, dental, life, short-term disability, etc), 401k, and others are generous compared to other ABA companies -Flexible Friday schedule; you can makeup hours that were missed during that month due to sickness, vacation, or appointments - Flexible overall schedule: you can take time off at anytime
Cons
-Frequent cancellation which is part of the job -Traveling from one home to another is time and energy consuming even though the company reimburses you for your mileage. Even when I work 7-9 hours per day, I will be out on the road, coffee shop, or in my car for 10+ hours per day. Usually I get out of my house at 7:30PM and get home around 7:30PM -Less training opportunities - training is only every 3 month which is more geared towards administrative updates
