Pros
Beacon's got talent. Beacon has leaders on the management team that are true experts in the field. From compliance to maintenance operations, you won't find more knowledgable and dedicated people in the industry. Beacon promotes an open door policy where everyone is invited to provide their feedback. Even with many layers of management, the CEO and President want to hear feedback on what is working and what isn't. They have proved their dedication to this open communication by touring every property and meeting every employee. Their meetings are not just an introduction and a hand shake, but rather a conversation about who the employee is and what their background was before joining Beacon. It's like the television show undercover boss, except they are not undercover! Beacon has had tremendous growth over the last few years and it has afforded many employees the opportunity to grow their careers within the organization. With these promotions and opportunities comes a lot of hard work and dedication to the company most call their second family. There are many employees that have worked for Beacon for decades and will retire with the company. Beacon is a special company with a very special group of people that care and support their colleagues.
Cons
Not really a con, but suggestion- With the continued growth of the company, it will be important to continue to find solutions to streamline some of our processes and implement more technology to keep up with the company's growth.
