Pros

Beacon is very conscientious of providing a live/work balance for their employees. They continually look for ways to be innovative. As they grow the company they look for ways to to make the workload less stressful

Cons

The biggest challenge is the workload. It would be ideal to increase staffing

Dear property manager, First, I’d like to thank you for sharing your feedback and positive comments on Beacon’s future here on glassdoor.com. We appreciate your kind words and are very committed to keeping our corporate culture intact as we continue to grow. Also, we are actively working to reduce property work load by hiring new positions at the home office to centralize some property duties. Again, thank you for your positive comments and remember our open door policy allows you to raise any concerns you might have to any member of our executive team. Sincerely, Jeff Baker

Pros

Great benefits, so much time off. First company I ever worked for that actually values their employees.

Cons

HR leaves something to be desired. Do not respond with any urgency.

Pros

Early release Fridays Good PTO

Cons

For early release Fridays you end up having to do more work at a faster pace. I worked for my site for the entire year and when they were supposed to pay out a bonus of roughly $13k dollars at the end of the year they said that because I put my notice in they wouldn't honor my bonus. When someone works the entire year and because you take an extra 5 months to close your financials that should not be my problem. Pay people that have rightfully worked for you for the entire duration of the fiscal year. Fair is fair.
