      Pros

      amazing kids. you become attached to them and their daily progress. seeing them thrive is definitely rewarding. most of the employees pretty much get mistreated by “management” in some way shape or form so friendships within the clinic are built off trauma bonding. I guess that’s a pro?

      Cons

      i can count on one hand the number of people that have made me feel appreciated at this place. the person that calls themselves being “HR” often times is the root of the problem. very unethical. disorganized. unprofessionalism. the list goes on. the constant mistreatment has honestly caused much damage to my mental health- which they don’t care about at all. they want employees working above and beyond no matter how they are feeling. working with difficult behaviors can be very mentally taxing, you would THINK that they would have some type of mental health resources or programs implemented. nope! instead they guilt trip employees into showing up no matter what because the kids need us. that is manipulation at its finest. who truly will stick around to tolerate this? the CEO claims that so many people leave because their “hearts” aren’t in it. i hope one day she opens her eyes and realizes that her company makes it hard to actually enjoy working in ABA.

We understand that working in a challenging field can be mentally taxing, and we want to ensure that our employees have the support they need to perform their jobs effectively. Regarding mental health services, we do in fact have programs in place to support our employees' well-being, including access to an LMHC that we have been contracted with for several months. We have also brought LMHCs and other professional mental health individuals to our staff trainings to discuss resources available to all employees.       Working at BAI has been an incredibly rewarding experience! I’ve learned so much about ABA principles and best practices, and the hands-on experience has been invaluable in helping me grow as a therapist. The company provides ample resources to ensure success, from ongoing training sessions to a supportive network of colleagues who are always willing to collaborate and share ideas.
