Pros

Bell Helicopter has a long legacy of experience built up over decades so if you're looking for lessons in "traditional" business or management then you'll find it here.

Cons

Due to the involvement with the government contracts if you're not a US citizen then you're very much a second class citizen getting excluded from certain conversations, locations and career opportunities. You can even be a national from an allied country and still be treated without trust. It must be predicated on the fact all Americans are trustworthy ? The business is like a juggernaut. It has old aircraft models, old ways of working and traditional management that are all stuck in their ways. Any young inspirational leader would stay well clear as you'd need 10 years just to bring the business and the mindsets up to date.

Thank you for your feedback. While these next few years will be challenging, we have a tremendous opportunity in front of us to bring three major development programs to market – something that is unheard of in our industry, yet together we are doing it. We are executing to our schedules and are making tremendous progress on each of these programs.

Pros

This is one of the nicest companies to work for. Everyone is genuine, down t earth, and kind. People are eager to answer your questions and give you meaningful work if you ask for it.

Cons

If you don't work to plug yourself in, you will not have the working knowledge to participate in the job. Without your own effort, it would be easy to coast by and fly under the radar. It is difficult to fold in a completely unexperienced intern into contracting unless the intern is proactive to learn and ask questions.
