Pros

Benefits available day 1 but difficult to get in their system. The benefits will be effective but not available for Doctor or Dentist to see for over 1 month.

Cons

You will work 12 hour shifts doing the same thing repeatedly for months. Training is limmitted to orientation and company rules only. .There is no instruction or path for learning. Most boring job ever.

Pros

It was a super fun environment to work in and a great first job for people in high school or while coming back home for breaks in college. The manager upheld Ben and Jerry's core values and made it a very inclusive place to work, even writing a letter of recommendation for me to send to colleges.

Cons

After some time, you can be promoted, which comes with a raise. Still, it does not increase proportionally with the minimum wage, so new hires end up making almost the same hourly rate as I did for fewer responsibilities. The owner at this specific location prioritized money over creating a good working environment. The reason the job was still good was that the amazing manager at the time was the only supervisor you mainly needed to interact with daily, and not the owner.
