Pros

The people. This organization is filled with loyal employees who go above and beyond for this privately owned company.

Cons

Those loyal and very competent employees are treated unfairly. They are asked to go above and beyond but the company doesn't reciprocate the effort. Wages are extremely low and the amount of work is extremely high. This company is not good for those who want to grow in their careers.

Benco Dental Response

Like any progressive company, Benco hires top flight people who want challenging work. There are many associates who have and will continue to promote within the organization due to their hard work and accomplishments. Benco’s wages are bench marked regularly against the local, regional and national market to ensure that we are competitive. Additionally, we have many programs in place to reward and acknowledge our associates and show how much we value them – regular massage days, onsite wellness activities, Community Boosters program, Benco Bucks, and unique additional benefits. In fact, today’s activities at the home office reflected our care for past, long term and new associates. We celebrated Founder’s Day with memorial services for deceased long term associates and capped the day with a quarterly service awards program and luncheon served by the leadership team where we recognized those with milestone anniversaries as well as new hires.

Pros

I enjoy my coworkers and manager.

Cons

It is disappointing and disrespectful to be paid so little for the amount of time many employees have worked here. Upper management brags about how much money we bring in a year and the trips they go on but can't afford to give us at least a 3% raise. There also isn't any room for growth so don't expect to go far here.
