Pros

I worked in the Singapore office running the ANZ Commercial Accounts and enjoyed my time there. Here were some good points: - Supportive Mentors - Helpful Colleagues - Good Territory Executive - Solid Solution Engineers in SEA and ANZ who know their stuff - Excellent support from the Finance team in Beijing and Renewals team in India / Australia - Stable, Mature Culture This was a good place to learn / start a career in software sales.

Cons

I felt that the Commercial Account Managers who were managing territories outside of ANZ had a more challenging time following the Bentley Sales Process (BSP) in parts of Asia that were less westernized. The BSP worked best in direct, confrontational cultures like US or ANZ. It was tricky to implement this in asian cultures where people were more averse to directness / confrontation.
