Pros

Best Buy is an overall awesome place to work, at least at the location I am at. The management is understanding of all needs and is willing to be very flexible with scheduling, at least for part time employees. The discount is amazing compared to other retailers and, provided that you don't abuse it, there is really no limit on how much you can buy. Management is willing to negotiate prices with employes on EOL (end of life) products and products that have been opened and returned. Most coworkers are competent and friendly; Best Buy must do a good job of judging in their interviews.

Cons

There are no terrible drawbacks to working at Best Buy, but you have the typical retail situation that you would at almost any store. Customers can be irate. Period. If you have good people skills you can generally make almost every customer happy however; management gives employees with no management role the authority to make some judgement calls - especially in Geek Squad and Customer Service.

Pros

Great General Manager, that’s about it.

Cons

All of the leadership besides the GM were unprofessional. They couldn’t help it but most were incompetent.

Pros

Flexible hours, employee perks such as discounted products, offers 401(k) despite being part-time, coworkers who are nice to work with.

Cons

Management is quick to call-out sales that have nothing attached to it (warranties, card applications, memberships, or accessories). There is a rodent problem that has not been addressed for nearly a year; food and beverages cannot be sold at this store.
