Pros

Best Buy Mobile for me was one of my favorite departments. Its different from everyone else. People leave super happy with their phones when you give them great customer service. Discount are always great there. One thing that stands out the most is bonus. They take 30% of last months pay if you double bonus and give it to you the following month. Its super great specially if you busted your butt that month. Mobile has the best bonus out all departments so its great. And last you spend more time with customers here, so lots of networking is involved and you can get personal with the customer.

Cons

Best Buy Mobile is not for everyone. Not only are you dealing with selling but you have to know every companies promotions every week. Im talking about ATT, Verizon and Sprint. Your also dealing with peoples bill. As my time there for 2 years I've never screwed anyones bill but some people have. So be careful as some stuff is not reservable after 14 days. Your dealing with people ignorant people at times, but thats normal. Best Buy Mobile as the most accessories in any department. CLOSING is worst thing ever. Long hours during closing. My store closed at 9 and we would leave by 12:30am-1:00am. For the most part you work from 4pm-1am. Moving up in the company works like this...either out shine everyone else and show maturity or be cool with manager while showing maturity. Its a politcal game.

Pros

No Need to sell or deal with customers (Much) Constantly moving so you always have a task to do Management leaves you to your own devices Almost all warehouse employees have a set of headphone

Cons

Everyone (Cust & employees) Expect an encyclopedic knowledge on where every single item is. Management seems to think we can lift a 85" tv, pull a washer off the top shelf, stock gaming shelves, and handle store pick up at the same moment. Customers think we don't want to help them when we call someone else to help with sales There's almost too much to do and even though we may have 1-3 employees working at a time, 1 is at the door, 1 is behind store pick up, which leaves 1 employee to handle new orders, deliveries, and down stocking.
