      Pros

      Amazing commissions and unlimited earning opportunities. It is a wonderful company for sales oriented people who enjoy working for themselves, engaging in the community, and lifting local businesses in the markets they long to be.

      Cons

      If you are in a difficult market or now able to overcome the discomfort of countless cold calls and drop ins, you will not make a dime. This is a 100% commission based role. Before you hit the baseline sales goal, you only earn a bonus with each contract. You basically volunteer until you make a sale.

As a commission-based sales job, it certainly isn't for everyone, but we've seen candidates from all professional backgrounds join BVM and experience great success.

      Pros

      Everyone - from publishers to designers and corporate office staff - is helpful and eager to see the whole team succeed. Other content coordinators are wonderful about sharing information that would be relevant to magazines outside of their area. Quarterly webinars also keep us abreast of what's new.

      Cons

      Some things within the software can occasionally be clunky; but IT listens to suggestions and always works to make improvements.
