Pros
Before working with BVM, I had bounced around several positions after leaving a long term sales development role. When I watched the recruiting video and learned more about the company, it seemed like I would be able to utilize my strengths and cultivate long term relationships, while consistently working towards long term residual income. I'm now 5 months into the role and loving it. I work my own schedule and feel like I'm impacting my local neighbourhoods in a very positive way. My favourite part so far is connecting with dozens of successful professionals each month.
Cons
It is hard work, the way a rewarding career should be, I suppose. There is cold-calling involved. Although some publishers have done well at the start by meeting with their own circle of influence, cold-calling and referral generation is a necessary part of the job for long term success. Fortunately initial training and ongoing training and conference calls help compensate for the absence of experience in those areas.
