Pros

(I worked remotely) Great pay if you can actually get good training from a manger and director who takes accountability. If your corporate experience doesn’t ruin it, you can feel like you are helping a lot of people in tough spots.

Cons

While they use metrics and a coaching standard a lot of what they say is never honored. You could perfectly implement coaching and if your numbers don’t improve they will blame you and fire you after a performance notice/performance improvement plan which displays a complete lack of accountability. I wish I had one of the recordings but I had a manager literally tell me I was doing exactly what he would have done on the phone and that was the coaching… then they threatened to fire me for lack of performance (after a long track record of top level performance). They also backpedal a lot and blame you for doing what they told you to do. Someone who was following their process literally was told that if they closed 2 deals they would be able to keep their job. After closing their second deal they were walked out… I got to be in a lot of management meetings (was vetted to be an manager) and they don’t really care about their employees. They will hire someone and instead of building with them will cycle through until they find someone who seems to do well. Once that person’s performance drops off due to changes in market trend, economic climate or even just personal struggles they will quickly move to replace that person as well. They have a lot of double standards for top performers but beware because if/when your performance drops you’re on the chopping block. Schedules can be brutal and you may not be able to spend time with family and loved ones because you will be on the phones over the evenings and weekends. You will most likely be stressed out heavily. They will blame you for numbers even though they sre sourcing bad leads that they stick you with that hurt your numbers because they deem them as “qualified” although most of them are being bait and switched due to false advertisement that many agents have complained about. Unless you have PTO you can’t be out sick even with a doctor’s note or due to family emergency. You will be fired or written up if you miss a day of work. They have changed the pay plan a lot and change metrics. Job stability and pay stability are mid-level at best. I lost all love and hope for the company once I got to see what they really are at the heart of their corporate structure with the directors and senior directors. It could be a wonderful place to work if they actually understood that their employees are humans and not robots without families.

Pros

Beyond Finance truly stands behind its leadership team and agents. There is a strong support system in place, and upper management genuinely listens to feedback and provides resources necessary for us to succeed. Whether an employee or client opportunity... one doesn't outweigh the other and are both equally important here at Beyond. The collaborative environment makes it incredibly rewarding to coach and mentor team members, helping them develop their skills and hit their performance goals.

Cons

None at the moment as this is a great company that encourages career and opportunity growth!

Pros

Good pay and benefits, remote.

Cons

Horrible training. It's disjointed and hard to follow, basically consisting of a handful of PowerPoint presentations; no mock calls, limited shadowing, or anything else you would anticipate as part of contact center training. There are NO standardized SOPs. No centralized resources or knowledge management system. Extreme micromanaging. If you are 16 minutes 'idle' you get a disciplinary point ('idle' is measured by phone calls and moving to new accounts, NOT keystrokes, mouse clicks, or any sensible metric). The primary metric is hours on the phone. However, you, the employee, cannot see your total call time on the soft phone system. I was told contradictory information as to how this was measured. In fact, leadership was extremely cagey when questioned about metric calculations, going so far as to tell me "there isn't really a formula," for MATH. There is ZERO positive culture. You can't take even a moment to get to know your coworkers.
