Pros

*The pay was way higher than the job requirements, although I think the job has changed since the massive lay off due to Covid-19. *The manager was very energetic and passionate. *They weeded out the weak links quickly. *They provided snacks and drinks. *Parking pass for garage. *Everyone was really friendly and helpful. *The benefits were ok, a little high but better to have them than to not. *Wasn't there long enough for the 401K to kick in but you are fully vested after 3 years and they match up to 4%. *PTO starts at 3 weeks, plus they had maybe 6-10 holidays a year. *My schedule was 10-6 , you get a full hour lunch but you are paid for a full 8 hour shift. *I enjoyed the work I did. *I was given severance and was paid for all of my unused PTO. *Fast promotions.

Cons

*No one knows exactly what's going on. Since the company is so new everyone from the bottom all the way to the execs are all learning together. *Training was disaster because what we were trained on in orientation was not consistent to what was actually done on the floor. *Communication is horrible! Because everyone is learning, when you ask a question you might get 5 different answers and maybe one of them is right or the procedure has already changed. *People were being promoted to Senior associate that were just as clueless about what was going on as everyone else. Those people deserved it but how can you help 30 something people when things are constantly changing and you aren't made aware of those changes? *You are QC'd (quality Control) each week. At the beginning of the month you start at 100% and as your mistakes increase, your percentage goes down. If you are in the bottom 30% you are let go. Like I said the job responsibilities have changed even since April so all of this may not necessarily apply to the job as of 05/2020. *I left a stable job of 6 years to make better money and have better opportunities just to be laid off after 3 months. I could have stayed at my miserable job but I would still be full vested, have 4 weeks of vacay and INSURANCE. *

Pros

Beyond Finance truly stands behind its leadership team and agents. There is a strong support system in place, and upper management genuinely listens to feedback and provides resources necessary for us to succeed. Whether an employee or client opportunity... one doesn't outweigh the other and are both equally important here at Beyond. The collaborative environment makes it incredibly rewarding to coach and mentor team members, helping them develop their skills and hit their performance goals.

Cons

None at the moment as this is a great company that encourages career and opportunity growth!

Pros

Despite having minimal education and experience, this position at Beyond Finance has allowed me to work a remote job with considerable pay and benefits. The work itself is super chill and management is nice enough. If you’re looking for a temporary remote job and don’t need to be here long, this might be for you. You really have to take the good with the bad here haha.

Cons

No job security. My class started with 40 and we are down to 4 now a year in. The metrics make sense at first glance until you realize a lot of it comes down to luck. Since I’ve been there, multiple changes have been made which directly and obviously make hitting goals more difficult, but the goals remain unadjusted. Each month, management allows a curve to assist with this, but the curve is random and contributes to the feeling being at the mercy of luck. If a curve is needed every single month, why not just openly adjust goals to be more reasonable? I feel as though I am “succeeding” in spite of management, not because of any support. Additionally, the service this company offers is a scam. It’s a little uncomfortable when everyone is talking about how prideful they are of the work they do for this company when you know deep down you are ruining peoples lives financially.
