Pros
I am incredibly impressed with this company. First off I feel the product they offer is an industry leader. Also, they are the industry leaders you will constantly hear that on the phones "I called you because I heard you were the best". Leadership is so aligned, and excellent I have been truly impressed. The thing is everything I have interacted at at a leadership level has been amazing. The compensation is excellent, the market is very good for this busy, very good, I mean very good. If you have not worked in this industry it may be hard to see how good it is, but it is truly exceptional. The opportunity with the leads is plentiful, I legitimately do not feel the need to be overprotective of my leads, I know if this opportunity passes, a new one will be popping up in under 60 seconds. The technology is the best I've seen in any sales organizational bar none. Stuff, just works. Our CRM, it works, brilliantly, its constantly updated. Your equipment is exceptional. The training is exceptional, I have been in sales for many years and have worked for many companies, some of those companies have great training...none of those companies compared to Beyond finance. I have learned so much about sales. The schedule is flexible, which I like. I have never had a problem getting schedule changes. One nice thing about this job is very individualistic effort. So schedules can be flexible, however they are strict.
Cons
The job can be emotionally draining and stressful. Many of your clients will have gone through incredible hardship. They are very strict, at least from my experience. You are expected to work at minimum the hours you are scheduled, even if you come in early or stay late. With how individualistic our contributions are I feel some flexibility here would be excellent. I wish they'd be more open to working less then 40 hours week, I would love to have say a 35 hour work week, I also think that could be a great way to retain or attract talent.
