Pros

Meeting people and co-workers. Car selections.

Cons

Horrible pay. Pay-plan is awful and not very transparent. Very questionable at best. Upper management is out for themselves, lazy really don't care. No chance for advancement and they are constantly running ads for new sales people with no experience and will train. They need to as people come and go. They also claim their salespeople earn up to 100,000 a year. I think one girl does at one of the showrooms but no way is that statement true or they would not be running a constant school to train new people. The hours are long with little reward. Managers are just moved around and never replaced, they need to be replaced. If you can get any of them to move from their chairs and actually work that would have been great. The upper management is useless and you have to be related or a friend to move up. They really do not care about sales people, you are just there to make them money with no reward. If it is slow, you are pounded on and somehow it is the salesperson's fault. Marketing is no help and does nothing to bring in people. It is a family dealership and your are suppose to be part of the family....family does not treat family that way.

Pros

Bill Dodge Auto Group truly is the difference. We haven’t lost sight of the “family owned” aspect. We truly take care of the customers and that has always been my goal. As an employee I feel valued and appreciated. The Dodges care about their employees, especially the ones who’ve been with the group a long time. Many of the benefits offered are excellent including PTO for sales.

Cons

There are no cons. It’s a large group with a lot of moving parts.

Pros

Overall good spot to learn the car business. Leadership/management always has good tenure in the business, makes for a good support environment where possible. The company Christmas party is quite fun. Building connections with your showroom team. Strong preference to hire from within for management roles when they come up. Decent market area.

Cons

Not much in-house recurring skills training to succeed. Most improvement of sales skills requires you to build additional skills on your own. 4 days of instructed training upon onboarding.
