Pros

Ok. I’ve been in the company for less than 6 months and I’m enjoying it so far. The benefits are good (not paying anything on my insurance because I have Kaiser). People makes the culture and I really love the people who works here. There are free snacks and lunch and I heard the property management company is opening a gym somewhere nearby. I don’t really have any complaints so I don’t really understand why we have CLS complaining about the company when they are making over 120k a year plus all these benefits. I don’t understand why they are complaining when they all have these flexibility working in the lab while using their phones and chit-chatting at the same time. Honestly, if I hate the company, I’ll leave. I mean all they have is a license anyways. They should leave and let more deserving people who actually does the job and not act like a priviliged person who wanted to be hand-spooned. It is terrible.

Cons

No complaints so far but maybe more team building events.

Pros

A truly well-rounded, ambitious, kind, and supportive leadership team. There’s a strong balance of vision, intellectual curiosity, calmness, ethics, and thoughtful decision-making — all grounded in a genuine commitment to culture and values. The technology is incredible, but what really stands out are the people behind it — talented, driven, and hardworking individuals who care deeply about innovating with purpose and always keeping the patient at the center of everything. The culture is transparent, collaborative, and performance-driven, with strong communication and accountability from leadership. It genuinely feels like one cohesive team, 20-mile-marching forward together towards ambitious, shared goals. Expectations are clear, support is always available, and there’s a real sense that everyone wants each other to succeed.

Cons

BillionToOne offers so much — meaningful work, incredible teammates, strong support, great compensation, and endless opportunities to grow. But it’s also a place where you need to be all in. Success here takes focus, commitment, and genuine passion for what you do. I don’t see that as a negative at all — it’s part of what makes BTO such a special place. The bar is incredibly high for everything we do, and there’s an unwavering commitment to doing things not just the right way, but in ways that were once thought impossible. You’re constantly encouraged to challenge your own limits, think creatively, and find innovative ways to solve complex problems. It’s demanding — but it’s also deeply rewarding.
