Pros

The leaders are transparent, they welcome new ideas and are eager to learn what can be done to make Bioventus a better place. they are collaborative and would you provide with opportunities to share your perspectives. People are amazing and extremely friendly. There are no challenges when it comes to collecting information and learning about the opportunities, pain points and challenges. The flexibility of being hybrid makes it easier to maintain a work life balance.

Cons

"One challenge that most leaders face is with the capacity of their teams. Getting things done is hard as the teams are busy with day-to-day tactical tasks. It would be really helpful if we can introduce time management (timesheets) and capacity planning within our DNA. this allows to better plan and communicate to the stakeholders who have dependencies on the teams. There is a need to collaborate more where we understand the problems from multiple perspectives. given we are a young organization, we have capability gaps. better collaboration would ensure the capability gaps could be correctly articulated at every level and we would be able to prioritize building such capabilities, while ensuring business runs as usual."

Pros

some pros are the people who work at the company, the product speaks for itself, good work life balance and you have plenty of resources if you need help

Cons

Nothing new in the works, legacy products, focus on one part of the portfolio to make the rest of the company money

Pros

Very friendly atmosphere of internal employees. A lot less snarky, and talking behind each other's back than I've experienced at other similar sized companies. There is a wide range of experience & education among my Durham colleagues in the same position.

Cons

No real structured training for almost any position. Also, if you start out in a lower position it's very hard to develop objectives/strategies for moving up. There's no real mentor system, abs even though there's often internal postings before they're released public, it's often been my experience that they already have their selected candidate for the next level above customer service rep. Love the company, but it's given me little hope that I can grow within.
