Pros
*Good people.
*Smart people.
*Good product.
Cons
*Black Duck is a mess.
*People are in survival mode.
*Morale is low.
*Pay is low compared to the industry.
*Private equity just let the CEO and CRO go and as a result they've installed their own CEO and CRO. Who by the way are odd with no personalities. Very awkward and robotic.
*It has become a very cut throat environment.
*They are laying off across the board, especially in sales and it you're not laid off, they have begun to put people on PIPs.
*Inbound leads are scarce.
*Not much of a channel program to speak of.
*Sales folks are required to quote/sell implementation services without quota relief and only partial commission pay.
*Some leadership at the director level are just not polished and frankly are bizarre.
*This place is a mess. Lots of employee turnover, lay offs and lots of customer turnover. Retention is horrible.
*STAY AWAY.
