Pros
BRCC team members are exceptional people-customer focused, helpful and there is a definite GSD attitude across the organization. It helps that everyone is caffeinated. BRCC has experienced explosive growth, doubling in size in just a year which means there is nothing but opportunity for people who want to come in and be part of building an organization. There is an opportunity to build scalable, business impacting processes, programs, etc that just isn't available at a more established organization.
Cons
This is a high growth, young company which means there isn't a ton of structure. For those who require structure, it's not a good fit. You have to be a self starter. Communication norms have not been established so there is a heavy reliance on tribal knowledge and verbal passing of information. That isn't going to work for the long haul, things will get missed and silos will be built unintentionally-it's already starting to happen. For a number of employees, this is their first civilian position or their first corporate type of job which means there needs to be a little more guidance and assistance offered up front on norms, process, etc.
