Pros

Helping nonprofits to be more successful in raising money or doing advocacy in support of their mission.

Cons

Senior Management is totally disengaged from significant challenges in the company Mentality from Execs is to push employees so hard to produce that they reach breaking point and quit - which is happening a lot If management says they will fix issues, nothing really happens to fix them - just lip service Lack of training across the board and way too much turnover Little opportunity for career advancement Extremely low morale and job satisfaction

Honestly, at the time there weren’t many cons.

Pros

Decent pay, remote work flexibility, you get to work with some very talented folks.

Cons

Used to be proud to work for Blackbaud but that has all but disappeared in last 2 years. Poor and ineffective leadership, false transparency, frequent layoffs, bonuses based off of stock which has been tanking. It's a sinking ship. Avoid at all costs.
