Pros
People are generally nice, and they are planning to keep the focus on remote work after COVID-19
Cons
This is a very average company to work for. Team experience may vary, but this is definitely the kind of job where you are mostly a cog in the machine, doing what other architects or other teams tell you to do. Everything is very conformist, as one may expect from a company this size. The conformity is good from a company waste perspective but can be very demotivating and leave you feeling like you're not learning anything. The work is very average software development - it's good if you want something stable to collect a paycheck, or maybe if you're a more junior engineer and you are looking for some experience. However, if you're one to be innovative or try to push the status quo, expect a lot of red tape and resistance. Pay and benefits are also pretty low for the industry standard. Merit increases were frozen in 2020 but are supposedly making a comeback in 2021.
